A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step

Congratulations! The decision to start your own business whether home inspection or a business of your choosing can be one of the best you will ever make in your life. Owning your own business should be an exhilarating, inspiring, grand adventure; one full of new sights and experiences, delicious highs and occasional lows, tricky paths and hopefully, big, open skies. But to ensure that your business journey will be a fruitful one, it is important to understand all that becoming an entrepreneur entails.

   Get down to business

There’s more than one way to officially set up a business. We’re here to help make sense of these different structures so you can start on the right path—or scale to the next level. We’ll check if your company name is available, and file all the required forms. Together, let’s make your business official.

Name Search

There's only one way to ensure that you won't violate someone else's trademark rights: Do some digging to find out whether another business is already using a name that's identical or similar to the one you want to use.

Legal Entity

Of all the decisions you make when starting a business, the most important one relating to taxes is the type of legal structure you select for your company. Not only will this decision have an impact  on how much you pay in taxes, but it also will affect the amount of paperwork your business is required to do, the personal liability you face, and your ability to raise money.

Filing Your Business

If your business is a limited liability company (LLC), corporation, partnership, or nonprofit corporation, you'll  need to register with any state where you conduct business activities

EIN/FEIN Number

As a business owner, you'll need an EIN to open a business bank account, apply for business licenses and file your tax returns. It's helpful to apply for one as soon as you start planning your business. This will ensure there are no delays in getting the appropriate licenses or financing that you may need to operate.
